Nestled in the heart of Smithtown, the Preserve is a refuge for wildlife and its diverse habitats support a variety of trees, shrubs, wildflowers and ferns.Visitors can relax and rejuvenate while developing an appreciation for the natural world by hiking, fishing, and birding, cross country skiing or snowshoeing along the many trails of the Preserve or while fly fishing on the beautiful Nissequogue River.
