Mr. Lai is the principal of the Law Office of Thomas Lai. Mr. Lai immigrated from Taiwan to the United States at the age of six and was primarily educated in the United States. He has assimilated to the American norms and behaviors but still retains traditional Chinese values and culture.

Prior to establishing the Law Firm of Thomas Lai, he has interned for Justice Leslie G. Leach of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, worked as an attorney for Deloitte in Westfield, New Jersey, Dai & Associates, P.C. in Flushing, New York and Marzec Law Firm in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Lai is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey and has extensive experience in civil litigation and family law, making court appearances in the Supreme Courts of New York on a regular basis. His experience also includes commercial litigation, divorce and appeal in the New Jersey courts.

Mr. Lai speaks English, Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
