Dr. Li Lu's main responsibilities are to provide anatomical pathology and cytopathology services at VA Hospital and pulmonary pathology service at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida and UF PathLabs, in Gainesville, Florida. She is the unit director of her department's pulmonary pathology service.
Her teaching responsibilities include resident teaching through clinical services and didactic lecturing, as well as medical school teaching in the case study section of a second-year-pathology course.
Dr. Lu's research activity is mainly in the field of lung transplant rejection and lung cancer research.
