介绍：The former Oneida Correctional Facility is an extensive property consisting of 47 buildings on approximately 85 acres of land located within the City of Rome in Central New York. The facility, formerly the Rome Developmental Center, opened in 1988 as a medium-security correctional facility, encompassing many historic brick buildings for housing and other purposes. The earliest buildings on the property date to 1886.

The City of Rome is home to the Griffiss Business and Technology Park, a center for private and public business enterprises, including one of eight U.S. Air Force Research Laboratories in the nation. Rome is close to the Adirondack Forest Preserve and has efficient highway, air, canal and rail access to important U.S. and international trade centers.
