EP Restaurant General Manager Job Overview
We are looking for a goal-oriented individual who is passionate about the hospitality industry to fill our Restaurant General Manager position. This individual will work closely with the assistant manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, as well as the entire staff (Partners included) in meeting the set goals and expectations of each fiscal year. More importantly, we are looking for a person who is committed to customer service, who can provide the customers with a memorable experience. And as importantly, we want this individual to be a dynamic, and unselfish team-leader who can guide the team to success.

Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
Hire and train staff (with the help of the Partners and AGM)
Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs
Keep front of the house inventory (with the help of head waiter and AGM)
Work with AGM and Head-Chef on specials
Talk to customers to receive feedback on food and service
Open and close the restaurant (shift dependent with head chef, and AGM)
Ensure that staff members are available for shifts
Motivate and help staff during busy shifts
Intervene and alleviate any staff tensions
Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Restaurant General Manager Requirements:
Prior experience or interest in the restaurant industry.
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work during holidays and any other preset dates
Knowledge of bookkeeping software
Dynamic team player

IMPORTANT NOTES
This position will not be filled until two-weeks prior to our Grand Reopening - estimated now for October 2020.

This position has a starting salary of around $45000 to $50000 annually based on experience. The starting is underlined because of potential raises or bonuses, and etc., based on the fiscal year. This GM position offers a lot of room for growth and professional development. We guarantee you that if you give us your support, we will work with you the best that we can.

This position offers three meals during the working day, as well as housing (if applicable). Hours are negotiable, expect for preset dates/time periods.
