Technical Support - Merchant Services
Reliance Star Payment Services, located in Great Neck, NY, is hiring a tech-savvy, highly motivated technical support specialist to join our growing team! This critical position requires someone who can assist customers with technical questions on use and implementation of credit card terminals and POS systems in a timely and professional manner.
Bilingual and Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. We offer merchant services support and training in English, Korean, Vietnamese and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Fuzhounese.)
Our Technical Support Specialist will: provide customers with courteous customer service / technical support, in person or over the phone; retain present customers and develop new business by extending professional and efficient service; and suggest additional services and products to serve customers' needs.
More specifically: -- Assist customers with questions on credit card terminal installation, training, usage, and implementation.-- Respond to and investigate customer inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, fax, mail, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.-- Answer questions and provide appropriate technical and/or product-related information. Additionally, our Technical Support Specialist will be on "standby" after hours and weekends for escalated and/ or urgent technical support calls and must be able to maintain flexibility to take care of urgent equipment or POS issues after hours, weekends and public holidays by returning to the office or visiting local merchant locations.
Requirements: -- Three to five years related merchant services technical support experience.-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual skills a plus.-- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.-- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.-- Valid Driver's License and reliable car.
