刚才说的信息是在 NJ Motor Vehicle Commision (MVC)上查的，不是DMV。
DMV和MVC是啥关系啊？

查了下NYC-DMV的说明,你是不能考驾照的,因为必须要提供SSN(社安号).
另持中国驾照是可以短期开车的,但是保险可能会高,详情可以询问租车的地方或DMV

谢谢您帮我去查，另外看在NJ DMV网站上说valid驾照必须是来自于qualified countries, 而qualified countries的定义是：*Qualifying countries from United Nations Convention on Road Traffic, Geneva (1949), Convention on the Regulation of Inter-American Motor Vehicle Traffic, Washington, D.C., (1943) and Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (1968). 中国大陆并不在这个清单之内。
那就是说如果没事大家就都不管你用中国驾照在美国短期开车，一旦出事就麻烦了。
