为了纪念Maddie的宠物收养日，6月14日和15日，内华达州南部将举行免费宠物收养活动！
此活动由Dave和Cheryl Duffield基金会资助，6月14日和15日所有领养费都免除！统统免除！
此次领养活动是内华达州全州运动之一！
从6月12日开始，官网上会发表所有参与此次活动的宠物救助组织，更新所有免费收养点，和可收养的宠物的照片！


活动负责人Wade在一份声明中表示：
这是我们第三次举行全州免费宠物收养活动！去年我们成功举办了两次。标准领养政策仍然适用于这批即将被免费带回家的宠物。很酷的是，我们将为每只在活动期间被领养的宠物报销200美元！这样，动物组织就可以放弃所有标准收养费用，鼓励居民们领养这些可爱的动物！给他们新的家园！
