PolarOnyx, Inc. (www.polaronyx.com, Chapel Hill, NC) is a leading company in laser based 3D printing and material processing. The company is currently hiring two system automation/software engineers.

Responsibilities
· Carry out automation software development for 3D manufacturing. Understand and resolve issues in R&D and production.
Requirements
· B.S., M.S. in engineering, CS, physics, or mathematics, etc. 2 years hands-on experience is a plus
· Ability to write fast, clean, and robust C/C software
· Experienced with Object-oriented design and programming
· Experienced with machine learning and artificial intelligence
· Self-motivated, energetic, good attitude, and detail-oriented
· Understanding machine control and 3D printing process is a plus
· Understanding image processing and computational geometry is a plus
· Strong communication and people interaction skills. Good at presentation and documentation
· Capable of doing parallel works
