Essentials Functions:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, managing accounts and customers, overseeing the execution of sales programs.
- Contact new prospects/potential customers to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities; provide information on product offerings and solutions that effectively address specific customer needs; follow through on leads thoroughly by answering potential customers’ questions and providing additional information upon request in order to close new prospective client opportunities.
- Explain and demonstrate products and solutions via video conference or other means, as applicable, in order to generate interest and gain buy-in for next steps from prospective clientele.
- Introduce existing and new products via phone, email, text messages, online or other social platforms, either by following up leads or cold calling.
- Close sales and achieve sales targets consistently.
- Upsell products and services; research and qualify new leads by increasing number of SKU carrying by customers.
- Drive sales activity through the direct sales and marketing efforts of targeted call lists, direct follow-up, and other sales efforts.
- Ensure thorough understanding and knowledge of the company products and services.
- Handle marketing materials to customers such as product catalogs, shippers, samples & etc.
- Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers; input daily sales calls into SAP Hana that aligns with sales and marketing, and outside sales teams.
- Proactively research and learn about competing products and services and report to management accordingly.
- Support sales team by providing internal client account management support, including but not limited to daily client status inquiry management, follow up on logistics, outcomes and next steps in the active sales cycle, and managing client and internal expectations through detailed communications.
