天冷了，纽约政府为了解决取暖，临时提供了一些取暖处。 华埠一带白天有五个日间取暖中心，目前家中依然没有电力或暖气的民众，可前往避难中心避寒。这五个地址分别是亚伦街189号丶茂比利街70号丶格兰街168号（168 GRAND STREET）丶地兰西街30号（BRC SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM）丶麦迪臣街50号（SMITH HOUSES SENIOR CENTER）。开放时间从上午9点至下午4点。
